The support assistant says it cannot detect the audio hardware. This appears to be because the HP support assistant relies on the windows operating system to detect the hardware. And the windows 10 update pretty much disabled the hardware and made it undetectable. The hardware no longer shows up in the device manager and likely won't until HP gets a windows 10 update compatible audio controller from Realtek. I recommend you download and install the audio driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.
I downloaded the audio driver from the posted link. But it errored out. Here is a print screen. Unfortunately, when I tried that the install errored out.
